Koolaide Color Charts and Projects

June Dye a Long

All done on plain white sparkle Lion Brand Woolease (a wool/acrylic blend). The colors are more vivid than this, but do have some white showthrough like a heather effect. Approximately 100 yards of each color. Clockwise from top:

orange- 1 package orange and 1 package of pink lemonade. the yarn had been soaked in vinegar and water, but no further acid added.

blue- 2 packages berry blue with additional acid; this yarn was dyed last and had the acid left over from the rest of the koolaid/vinegar. also soaked in vinegar and water prior.

yellow- dyed second; 1/4 tsp wilton’s lemon yellow. mixed with hot water and vinegar prior to dyeing as well as the acid from the first koolaid bath and soaked in vinegar and water.
